Program Manager, Marty Breen, was EVP of Cumming, which contracted with Marriott.  Mr. Breen communicated directly with the COO at Marriott.

Our design story incorporates both the centennial history of a landmark building, listed on the historic registry, with new and exciting future elements.  It includes 173 luxury keys and no residences.  This project was a major property renovation and conversion of the former Berner’s Hotel in the Fitzrovia district.  It required a full interior demolition and reconstruction, but the historic façade and interior spaces were fully restored to their former glory.  Now it includes the Tavern Restaurant operated by Chef Jason Atherton, a basement nightclub, lobby bar, punch room bar, fitness center, and meeting rooms.  The hotel opened in September of 2013 and received Best Hotel Opening for that year.
